Sally AmirghahariWith over fifteen years of experience, attorney Sally Amirghahari practices law in Irvine and Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Amirghahari helps individuals, families and business owners with many of their important legal needs from all over the world. Her practice areas include Immigration, OFAC, Business and Corporation, Asset Protection, Estate Planning, Taxation and related areas of law.

Mrs. Amirghahari has been serving the Persian community since 2004 and have appeared in several Radio and TV programs discussing Estate Planning issues and the OFAC rules and regulations under the U.S. Department of Treasury. She also published an article titled “An overview of O.F.A.C. Regulations involving Sanctions against Iran”, in September of 2012. Mrs. Amirghahari has earned a Master Degree in taxation (LL.M.) in addition to her Juris Doctorate. Attorney Amirghahari is authorized to practice law in the State of California and the various Federal Courts in the US including the US District Court and the U.S. Tax Court. Mrs. Amirghahari is a member of the California Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is also a member of Estate Planning, Tax, Real Property and Immigration law sections of the State Bar and Orange County Bar Association.

Obtaining all necessary OFAC licenses according to the U.S. Department of Treasury laws and regulations with respect to Iran Sanctions; preparation of all compliance reports, assisting clients with transferring money to and from Iran and US; handling all OFAC Administrative Subpoenas and other related matters with respect to transferring money including but not limited to dealing with various banks regarding blocked funds or seizure of funds by the CBP at the US airports.

Preparation of wills, revocable living trusts for a single person or married couples, various irrevocable trusts including but not limited to Bypass Trusts, Generation-Skipping Trusts, Grantor-Retained Interest Trusts, Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, irrevocable insurance trusts, Spendthrift Trust, Special Needs Trust and other Irrevocable Trusts. Preparation of various power of attorneys including but not limited to Power of Attorney for Health Care, Power of Attorney for Assets, Family Limited Partnerships, Family gifting strategies, and other estate planning strategies. Also includes planning to reduce income taxes, trust and probate administration.

Forming, liquidating and merging corporations, keeping corporate records up-to-date, forming partnerships and limited liability companies, preparing various contracts and agreement including but not limited to buy-sell agreements for business succession planning, operating agreements, drafting and negotiating consulting agreement, confidentiality agreements and Non-Competition Agreement, employment and independent contractor agreements, sale and purchase of business arrangements, debt collection, business line of credit negotiation and other general business documents and planning. Also includes the tax planning and asset protection involved in such transactions. We also prepare post and pre-nuptial agreements.

Preparation and negotiation of commercial and residential leases, subleases, loans, notes, deed of trust, assignment of leases, real property purchase agreements, negotiation and obtaining waiver of property taxes due to hardships, and other related legal issues with respect to various deeds, preliminary change of ownerships and homestead declaration.

Resolving, disputes with the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization, and other tax authorities, personal and business tax audits, including preparation of offer-in-compromise and tax settlement agreements.
